Join Us and Experience the Story

In addition to our efforts to preserve historic structures and the stories about the leaders that occupied them, we also have programs to bring history alive for the students of Edenton and the Chowan County schools. Recently, they've met
Tom Pitz, an actor portraying Thomas Jefferson without leaving character or the timeframe of his portrayal. Noted author, Peter Henriques, Realistic Visionary: A Portrait of George Washington, discussed Washington's character and his contributions to the founding of the nation with the students.

To make these program work, we need help in two forms: volunteers and donors.

If you are interested in learning more about how
volunteering can help us, please visit our Volunteer Page or call us at (252) 482-7800.
